The Central Texas Methodist Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, serves the members, churches, and agencies of the Central Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. The Foundation sustains itself through its services, without apportionment support from the Conference.
As part of its stewardship program, the Foundation offers members and churches the opportunity to invest in interest-bearing Certificates of Participation (CPs). Funds from CPs are used to make capital loans to churches and institutions for the purchase, construction, or improvement of property and buildings. The Foundation also administers a Growth Stock Fund, a Fixed Income Fund and the Diversified Fund on behalf of churches, receives and holds in trust charitable gifts and devises made by donors, and provides consulting services.
