The Foundation helps churches establish and grow permanent endowment funds, which are a perpetual source of support for the maintenance, beautification, and expansion of the churchs' properties. Endowments are a living legacy of caring and purposeful stewardship. A permanent endowment ensures welcoming facilities for the church family and those invited to Christ and His Church.

To assist churches with their endowments, the Foundation offers the Legacies Endowment Fund program to promote gifts for enduring purposes. The program is based on a four-step plan: 1) getting organized, 2) holding a charge conference to elect a committee and to adopt a charter, 3) developing a program of action, and 4) holding the Legacies Endowment Sunday annually to inspire and remind members to participate throughout the year.

The Foundation staff's planning services are available to the Legacies Endowment Fund Committee. The Foundation's services are complimentary, and the costs for materials is nominal. To explore common gift choices for an endowment, go to the CTMF Gift Calculator.
