Established in 1957 and re-chartered in 1991, the Foundation is a continuation of the Permanent Fund of the Board of Missions of the Central Texas Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South; of the Methodist Foundation of the Central Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church, which was founded in 1958; and of the Council on Planned Giving and Office of Planned Giving created by the conference in 1986.
